It is common during the service of a scuba regulator that there is not enough room to use 2 standard spanner wrenches.
To avoid this problem, we have designed the Thin Spanner Wrench in 28mm and 13/16-inch sizes from high-quality 316 stainless steel.
 
The combination spanner wrench 28mm and 13/16 inch is used for:
Tightening and loosening of the Apeks MTX-R heat exchanger.
Tightening and loosening of the Scubapro MK17 EVO diaphragm retainer
Tightening and loosening of the Apeks XL4 heat exchanger
 
Due to the maximum torque load of 20Nm (18mm side 15Nm), we advise against using this tool when servicing first-stage regulators.
 
Our line of thin spanner wrenches consists of the most commonly used metric and imperial sizes. To prevent the use of the wrong size wrench, we have combined sizes with the smallest dimensional difference into one combination spanner wrench.
