The DIN retainer tool is engineered to extract seized or stripped DIN connectors from scuba regulator first stages without damaging the body.

How It Works:

This tool is used to remove a first-stage DIN connector when its hex socket has been entirely rounded off or stripped by standard hex keys. To operate, secure the flat base of the DIN retainer tool tightly into a standard bench vice. Slide the damaged DIN connector onto the exposed portion of the tool. Once anchored, clamp a heavy-duty first-stage holder onto the regulator body and turn it counterclockwise. The tool grips the internal mechanics safely, breaking the stuck threads loose without causing cosmetic or structural damage to the housing.
