The Sherwood SR Series Second Stage Cover Retainer Tool is used to remove or tighten the second-stage cover retainer ring on Sherwood's SR series second-stage regulators.
 
How It Works:
Align and place the tapers of the tool directly into the corresponding openings of the Sherwood SR second-stage cover retainer ring.
Slowly turn the tool in the correct direction (counter-clockwise to open, clockwise to close) while maintaining steady downward pressure to prevent slipping.
When closing and sealing the assembly, tighten the ring smoothly until seated.
Take extra care not to overtighten the ring during assembly, as excessive force could cause the plastic retainer ring to break.
