The Scubapro MK11 diaphragm retainer torque C-spanner tool is a workshop instrument engineered for the servicing of Scubapro MK11 first-stage regulators. When overhauling a balanced diaphragm regulator, tightening the main retainer to the manufacturer's specifications is crucial to prevent intermediate pressure creep or structural failure.
This C-spanner allows technicians to securely interface with the regulator's perimeter holes to achieve a solid, non-slip fit. Machined from aluminium and reinforced with a hardened stainless steel pin, it delivers the ideal balance of lightweight handling and exceptional durability.
How It Works:
This tool is designed to torque down the Mk11 first-stage retaining ring. Engage the hardened stainless steel pin of the C-spanner firmly into one of the holes on the diaphragm retainer ring. Slide a torque wrench or a 3/8" square drive wrench onto the integrated adapter of the tool. Apply smooth, controlled pressure to tighten the retainer to the manufacturer-specified torque rating of 35 Nm, ensuring a perfect seal without risking distortion or stripping.
