The Scubapro X650 second-stage lever tool is used for the installation and removal of the lever of the Scubapro X650 second stage.
Lever Disassembly
To remove the lever, first ensure the second-stage diaphragm is out. Slide the tool through the orifice side and into the barrel. Apply pressure against the poppet to compress the internal spring, holding the tool steady once it makes contact with the edge of the air barrel or housing. With the spring tension relieved, you can pull the lever directly downward to detach it.
Lever Installation
With the diaphragm removed, pass the tool through the orifice side of the barrel. Press it against the poppet until the spring is compressed, keeping the tool braced against the housing edge. While holding this position, tilt the lever into its functional orientation and thread it into the barrel's lever slot. Once seated, withdraw the tool and test the lever to ensure it moves freely and is properly aligned.
The Scubapro X650 second-stage lever toolis precision-machined from acetal.
