The Scubapro flow vane removal tool is used to remove the flow vane from Scubapro second-stage regulator housings.

Technicians frequently run into complications when attempting to remove the internal VIVA venturi flow vane manually through the narrow mouthpiece shank. Jamming fingers into the opening or leveraging makeshift metal picks often leads to scratched inner sealing walls, distorted plastic fittings, or torn rubber components.

How It Works:

Strip down the second-stage regulator housing by removing the external mouthpiece and clearing out any internal flow reducers or air barrel obstructions.
Insert the flow vane removal tool straight through the open mouthpiece shank.
Guide the tool until the custom-slotted tip securely bridges over the internal flow vane profile.
Using the structural contour of the tool handle against the interior walls of the shank as a safe pivot point, apply smooth, direct leverage.
Push or leverage the flow vane sub-assembly evenly until it pops free from its retaining detents, allowing you to slide it out by hand for thorough cleaning or O-ring replacement.
