The Scubapro D420 flow vane ring tool is designed to open and close the flow vane ring of the Scubapro D420 second-stage regulator.
How It Works:
Carefully place the tool over the top of the regulator ring, aligning its two small recesses directly with the two protruding flats of the flow vane ring.
Ensure the tool sits as straight and flat as possible on the flow vane ring before applying pressure to prevent slipping or rounding off the plastic edges.
Gently rotate to tighten or loosen the component. When installing the new or serviced ring, tighten carefully and avoid over-tightening to safeguard the delicate plastic threads of the flow vane ring.
