The Scubapro AIR2 poppet assembly assist tool is a practical and time-saving tool designed for servicing the internal poppet assembly of an AIR2 (alternate inflation system).
The tool provides a threaded base on which the poppet assembly can be screwed on for final assembly.
How It Works:
Screw the poppet housing assembly smoothly down onto the precision-threaded portion of the poppet assembly assist tool.
Continue turning the housing until the tool completely compresses the internal spring, relieving all outward tension from the assembly.
With the spring safely held in its compressed state, easily seat and install the lever, washer, and securing nut onto the top of the poppet assembly.
Once the top hardware is fully secured, carefully unthread the finished assembly from the acetal tool.
