Poseidon Jetstream and Xstream leak testing tool precision machined from premium materials by Scuba Service Tools.

The Poseidon Jetstream and Xstream leak testing tool allows the low-pressure (LP) valve housing assembly to be fully pressurised and checked for microscopic bubbles or structural leaks within a water bath environment. Conducting live-pressure diagnostic checks independently of the main regulator body.

How It Works:

Assemble the Valve: Build and isolate the low-pressure valve housing assembly according to standard Poseidon factory service protocols.

Connect the Tool: Couple the leak testing tool directly onto the isolated LP valve housing assembly.

Pressurise the System: Connect a low-pressure air source.

Submerge for Inspection: Submerge the entire pressurised tool-and-valve module cleanly into a water bath.

Identify Micro-Leaks: Look for any steady streams or micro-bubbles escaping from the seals.

Key Features & Specifications:

  • Universal Fitting: Accommodates the unique geometry profiles found on both Jetstream and Xstream second-stage models.
  • Streamlined Workflow: Minimises reassembly times by diagnosing O-ring integrity before full regulator rebuilding.

Technical Details:

Offers universal compatibility across a wide range of regulatory systems and components.

Supported Regulator Models

  • Poseidon Jetstream Series: Fits all models from 1978 to current production.
  • Poseidon Xstream Series: Engineered for all versions from 2002 to the current.
  • Vintage Jetstream G1/8": Fits older generations featuring the round valve housing nut.

Compatible Hoses and Adaptors

  • Standard Scuba Hoses: Works seamlessly with or without an integral Overpressure Valve (OPV).
  • OEM Hose Adaptors: Fully compatible with current factory-standard 9/16" adaptors.
