Mares inflator deflation button tool precision machined from white acetal for professional BCD service.

The Mares inflator deflation button tool is used to disassemble and assemble Mares BCD inflator mechanisms. This double-ended tool provides dive technicians with a precise and streamlined solution for extracting and reinstating the internal plastic ring and its sealing O-ring found at the bottom section of the inflator.

How It Works:

  • Removal: After detaching the inflator assembly from the buoyancy compensator jacket, push the side of the tool containing the small hole against the mechanism to disengage and remove the deflation button components.

  • Installation: Switch to the reverse end of the tool featuring the larger opening. Place the small replacement plastic part with its sealing O-ring positioned squarely on top inside the tool, then guide and seat it smoothly back into its designated location within the inflator body.
