The Apeks Flight heavy-duty composite diaphragm retainer tool is used to remove severely corroded or seized first-stage diaphragm clamps.
When regulators suffer from severe salt corrosion or lack of routine servicing, generic or light-duty tools fail and slip, risking permanent structural damage to the expensive composite clamp assembly. This heavy-duty version delivers the leverage required to break stubborn thread locks without deformation.
How It Works:
- Engagement: Press the circular recesses of the tool directly onto the corresponding nodes of the composite diaphragm ring.
- Torque Drive: Connect your standard 1/2" Ratchet or breaker bar into the top socket drive.
Key Features & Specifications:
- Built for Seized Gear: Engineered to handle extreme conditions when more torque is required due to severe corrosion inside the first stage.
