The multi-functional dual-stage service key for Apeks Flight and XL4 regulators is a dual-sided design, allowing technicians to service both the first and second stages of Apeks' lightweight travel regulator series using a single tool.
It serves as a perfect alternative to the factory Apeks AT71 tool, eliminating the need for bulky or improvised tools that risk damaging or scratching delicate composite and plastic components.
One Tool, Two Critical Functions:
- First Stage – Diaphragm Retainer Removal: One side features circular recesses designed to lock onto the nodes of the first-stage composite diaphragm retainer ring. Utilising the integrated 1/2" Ratchet drive, you can smoothly loosen or safely torque the clamp back into place. Note: Do not exceed 20 Nm of torque.
- Second Stage – Membrane Locking Ring Key: Flip the tool over to utilise the precision-spaced drive pins. These pins insert into the openings of the second-stage inner locking ring on both Flight and XL4 models, letting you easily spin it open or close it by hand.
