The Apeks Black Sapphire environmental end cap tool is utilised for the clean removal and installation of the faceted environmental end cap on the Black Sapphire first-stage regulator. 
 
How It Works:
  • Place the custom socket directly on top of the faceted environmental end cap.
  • Apply constant downward pressure during operation to prevent the tool from slipping over the tapered walls of the cap.
  • Connect a 3/8" torque wrench or socket wrench to the integrated drive on the rear of the tool.
  • Tighten the component during assembly until clear metal-to-metal contact is achieved, ensuring you do not exceed 12Nm of torque.
